1. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not use someone else’s account.
- Tell us straight away if you think your account has been used without your permission.
2. Community rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive or unlawful content.
- Do not post other people’s private information, spam, or anything you do not have the right to share.
- Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Portal or to other members’ accounts.
- We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it on the Portal you give us permission to display it there for the purposes of running the community.
4. Essay competition
If you enter an essay competition, the competition rules published when it opens also apply. By entering you confirm the essay is your own work. Entries are marked blind, and we may publish the winners’ names and results.
5. Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice.
6. Availability and responsibility
We work to keep the Portal running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by using or being unable to use the Portal.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the Portal means you accept the updated terms.
